The hotel is a gem above a historic pub built in 1444, located in a fabulous area. The rooms offer a unique experience with a shower out in the ceiling, a charming four-poster bed, and a fine view. The service may have seemed a bit relaxed on the reservation side. Dining may have room for improvement, but the gyu-don dishes are delightful.

My stay at this hotel was quite a mixed experience. The rooms were lovely with a nice view, but service could have been better. The location was convenient, being in the village center, but the lack of attentiveness was a downside. Dining offered grilled food, which was decent. The facilities were satisfactory, considering the age of the pub.
